Whether you can play seven instruments or max out at bobbing your head to a track with a good beat, we’ve got an intriguing role for a Lead DevOps Engineer who cares about great music.
Vinyl devotees may buy their tunes in physical form but for most of us, music is online, intangible, pouring out of our Bluetooth speakers and into our lives. Our client knows all about how you listen to music: as an independent global music business, they work with artists, labels, and distributors to release and sell music on their digital platform. They’ve got their own private cloud located in London and with offices in London and Shoreditch, you’ve got options on where to set up shop.
Don’t worry if you can’t read music. What’s important is that you’re interested in managing hardware, maintaining systems, and have a bangin’ competency in *nix systems administration. Add in the capacity to support a small infrastructure team and the skills to address big picture infrastructure and architectural issues, and you’ll be making beautiful music. Perl experience would be helpful, and knowledge of Linux, configuration management tooling like Ansible or Puppet, and experience operating in a physical data centre are must-haves.
What’s in it for you? How about 28 days of holiday in addition to bank holidays, daily lunches prepared on-site for your dining pleasure, and a flexible workplace policy that lets you toggle between the London and Shoreditch offices whenever you like. We’re told the best curry in London is found in Shoreditch, but we’ll leave it to you to check it out and report back.
You know you’ve got the skills to mic drop this role, so email us your CV today!
