Description: Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developers with server side logic
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use
• Design, build, document, & maintain SOAP/REST/RESTful API's
• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Design and implementation of data storage solutions
• Plan, create, enhance, maintain, test, deploy, administer, and document custom solutions
• Plan, create, enhance, maintain, test, deploy, administer, and document web parts, applications, workflows, event handlers, lists, master pages, layouts, and content types
• Work closely with Network Operations on devising appropriate maintenance, upgrades, disaster recovery, and backup plans
• Work closely with the Project Management Office and IT Managers to gather requirements for functionality needed by various business units
• Update existing sites as required by various business units.
• Function as subject matter expert
• Ensure all custom solutions are hardened against malicious data inputs and outputs
• Ensure all solutions code is secured in accordance with established disaster mitigation and recovery procedures
• Create and maintain technical documentation describing configuration and solution administration
• Maintain excellent communication with team members and management on all tasks and projects
• Communicate or escalate issues to management when required
Other Duties:
• Perform other assignments (or duties) as required
• Responsible for staying abreast of best practices both internally and externally

Required Job Skills:
• Perform on-site and remote technical support
• Strong experience with variety of software development methodologies, frameworks, and tools
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, debugging, and estimation skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a small, dynamic, fast-moving team
• Strong API design, development and API management experience
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Strong knowledge of XML/JSON Parsing
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Strong knowledge of security standards, practices, and architecture
• Understanding of session management
• Ability to interpret relational database schemas
• Ability to work as a technical professional in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to write proposals, papers, and make presentations
• Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise
• Ability to design relational databases
• Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley Act controls and requirements
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to be proactive, handle multiple responsibilities, and work under pressure
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
• Ability to be flexible to a changing environment, acknowledging urgency when necessary
• Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion in confidential matters
