As our QA Engineer, you will:

• Be responsible for the planning, execution, scheduling, and reporting of tests
• Build, maintain, and extend regression and automation suites
• Participate as a team member in testing, analysis, process management to identify and communicate risks
• Respond to dynamic situations while maintaining adherence to best principals
• Build alliances with developers, product owners and business users.
• Recommend solutions to technical issues, participate in architecting solutions
• Create black, gray, and white box automated tests as appropriate
• Drive continuous improvement in test coverage and test effectiveness.

Required skills: Qualifications:

• 3+ years in software QA, development, or configuration management
• Expertise in performance, stress, and code coverage testing
• Proficiency in Web based, n-tier software testing
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux environment
• Strong understanding of Web, client-server and Enterprise network protocols
• Demonstratable knowledge of and hands-on experience in 2 or more of the following: Java, Perl, Shell scripting, Python, Ruby
• Strong experience with testing/debugging Perl, Mod_Perl applications under Apache is highly desirable
• Experience in test automation tools (such as Selenium, Watir, WebTest, Canoo, etc.)
• Strong understanding and experience with RDBMS systems such as Oracle, Sybase, or MySQL
• BS in Computer Science or related field experience
