Description: We need highly skilled Perl developers to enhance our rambler.ru portal services. The work will be 70% web-development for >1000 req/sec pages and 30% internal systems development (incl. POE). Products we have vacancies in include Mail, Social services, Specialized web searches etc.
Required skills: Strong Perl, both OOP and not. Strong knowledge of modern web technologies. Knowledge of TCP/IP networks.
Desired skills: TDD, other Agile techniques. JavaScript, FreeBSD, MySQL & PostgreSQL. Modern Perl (ORM & RAD frameworks like DBIx::Class and Catalyst, Moose, perl 5.10, etc.) Knowledge of parallel computing primitives.
