Required skills: The Senior Developer will be a key contributor of the next phase of iTeam’s software development. You will have a broad based knowledge of web application development and Linux administration. Cranking out code, writing technical spec’s, engaging in creative problem solving, and exercising a sense of humor will be a big part of your day.

You will become a member of our virtual development team with members across the country, allowing you to work from home. The only catch is that you must be located within New England so travel to our Massachusetts office is convenient.

Desired skills: A minimum of five years of Perl, including object oriented Perl development experience, MySQL, web application development (HTML,CSS,SML) and experience configuring two different systems to talk to each other (JavaScript, XML). Linux System administration experience will be very helpful in this position.

Able to look at existing code and figure out what is going on quickly and efficiently

Inquisitive by nature and persistent in connecting iTeam's needs and how things work (or currently aren't working) in the existing code base.
