Responsibilities:
• Come up with bleeding-edge solutions in a highly competitive and ever-evolving internet landscape
• Define software architecture for the next generation of highly automated applications
• Have a “can-do” attitude and work closely with other bright engineers as well as a team of highly-motivated analysts and statisticians
Required skills: • Strong Perl skills
• MySQL or other relevant RDBMS experience, preferably with exposure to optimizing queries for large-scale data sets
• Fluency in Linux or other *nix flavor (Visual programming? Not here!)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a shared code environment
• Application development fundamentals, including but not limited to object-oriented programming, test-driven development and automation
