Description:	The successful candidate will have strong Commercial exposure to Perl Development in your last few projects. You will need to be very hands-on, be able to hit the ground running and work to tight deadlines. This position will best suit someone who can manage their own work schedule and work under minimal supervision. We are looking for a self-motivated Perl Developer with a minimum of 3+ year's commercial Perl development experience.
Required skills:	Object-oriented Perl, DBI Complex data structure handling Performance analysis and optimization Debugging techniques Regula expressions PostregSQL/ORACLE An understanding of database setup and table design Database and table maintenance Indexing, Query analysis and optimization Linux Basic command line knowledge Backend systems running on Linux Good communication skills in written and spoken English.
Desired skills:	Experience and knowledge in the following areas:- XML technologies Web development techniques such as HTML, CSS, HTTP, XML, DNS and JavaScript Version control with CVS/RCS or similar systems Perl web development with framewords such as Template Toolkit Unix Shell scripting 24/7 mission critical systems and full software lifecycle
